Green Event Ninjas is thrilled to return for our 5th year at The Great New York State Fair! We can’t wait to welcome both new and returning Recycling Ninjas to the team. Join us and help keep the fairgrounds clean.
Location: New York State Fairgrounds | 581 State Fair Blvd, Syracuse, NY 13209, United States
Dates: Aug. 21th – Sep. 1st, 2025 | Set-Up begins Aug. 16th
Shifts Available: Day (7 a.m. – 4 p.m.) | Evening (2 p.m. – 12 a.m.) | Overnight (10 p.m. – 7 a.m.)
Information for Applicants & Employees
(1) Application
The 1st step in the job application process is to “Apply” for the job by completing the application and interview process.
(2) Onboarding
Once your interview is complete, successful candidates will receive an email with a link to fill out their onboarding forms.
(3) Scheduling
Once you’ve completed your onboarding forms, we will begin creating your schedule. Scheduling will begin as early as Aug 4th.
Finding us at the New York State Fairgrounds
Assistance at the Fairgrounds
You’re welcome to visit the Fairgrounds to apply and receive onboarding support from our admin team. New applicants must complete in-person I-9 verification before their first shift.

You can find us in the far corner at the New York State Fairgrounds (see map below). Look for a large bright green shipping container and green tents!
