Most event cleaning companies are commercial cleaners who take on the occasional gala. Green Event Ninjas does the opposite. Our whole business is festivals, fairs, tournaments and stadium events, the kind with tens of thousands of people, multi-day schedules and overnight turnarounds.
We hire and train a local crew of Recycling Ninjas for every event rather than sending temp labour, we bring our own equipment and supplies, and we run cleaning and waste management as one contract so recycling and organics actually get diverted instead of contaminated. What Our Event Cleaning Services Cover
PRE-EVENT VENUE PREP
Grounds sweep and litter pick before load-in and again before doors, wipe-down of high-touch areas, bin and station placement, and clean-up behind set-up crews and vendors so the site opens clean.
DURING-EVENT PORTERS & LITTER CREWS
Roaming porters and litter-pick crews during show hours: bin swaps before they overflow, spill and glass response, back-of-house and vendor-row upkeep, and radio contact with your operations team. Crews are sized to the crowd and scheduled to the program, including overnight shifts on multi-day events.
RESTROOM & PORTABLE TOILET ATTENDANTS
Attendants who keep permanent restrooms and portable toilet banks stocked, wiped and usable through the day, with supply runs and a check schedule agreed with you in advance. Clean restrooms are the thing attendees remember, so we staff them properly.
POST-EVENT CLEAN-UP & LITTER PICK
Once the show wraps, we sweep the grounds, clear the venue and pick the litter so you can hand the site back on time and in better shape than you received it. Overnight or next-day, depending on your permit and load-out.
WASTE, RECYCLING & BINS

How It Works
1. SCOPE THE EVENT
Tell us the dates, the site, the expected attendance and what you need covered. We reply within one business day to set up a call and walk the plan with you.
2. PLAN & STAFF
We build the cleaning plan around your site map and program, then recruit, screen and train a local crew for the event. Supervisors and zone leads are ours; so are the equipment and supplies.
3. RUN THE EVENT
Our on-site manager runs the Recycling Ninjas across every shift and stays in contact with your operations team. You get one point of contact for cleaning and waste for the whole event.
4. HAND BACK & REPORT
We hand the site back clean and on schedule. Where the contract includes waste management, you also get a diversion report you can share with sponsors, the city and your board.

Green Event Ninjas is based in Barrie, Ontario, and staffs events across the province, including Toronto and the GTA, Hamilton, Ottawa and cottage-country festival sites. In the United States we work across New York State from Syracuse to New York City, and in Houston and the wider Texas market. Straight answers to the questions organizers ask before they book an event cleaning company.
What does an event cleaning service include?
Pre-event site prep, porters and litter crews during the event, restroom and portable toilet attendants, and post-event clean-up. With Green Event Ninjas it can also include the waste side: sorted recycling and organics, dumpster and hauling coordination, bin rentals and a diversion report.
How much does event cleaning cost?
It depends on the crowd, the site, the hours and how many phases you need covered, which is why nobody publishes a price list. We quote on a management-plus-cost basis after a short call, and the quote shows how crew hours, supervision, equipment and supplies add up, so you can adjust the scope and see the effect.
How big an event do you take on?
Our sweet spot is events from a few thousand attendees to the largest fairs and festivals in North America. Small private events are not a fit.
Do you clean during the event or only after?
Both, plus before. Most of our contracts run all three phases with crews scheduled around the program, including overnight shifts on multi-day events.
Do you provide restroom attendants?
Yes. Attendants keep permanent restrooms and portable toilet banks stocked and clean on an agreed check schedule. Pump-outs and toilet rentals stay with your portable toilet supplier.
Where do your crews come from?
We recruit, screen and train a crew from the event’s own community for every event, and our supervisors and on-site manager lead them. We do not use temp agencies.
Can you handle recycling and organics as well as cleaning?
Yes, and we would rather you let us. Running cleaning and waste sorting under one manager is how recycling stays clean enough to be accepted at the facility. See our event waste management service.
Which areas do you serve?
Ontario (Toronto and the GTA, Hamilton, Ottawa, Barrie and festival sites across the province), New York State including New York City and Syracuse, and Houston and Texas. Ask about other locations.
How far in advance should we book?
Large fairs and festivals are usually scoped three to six months out so we can recruit the crew. Smaller events can move faster. Tell us your dates and we will say what is possible.
